Application process
Nordic Innovation Centre (NICe) wishes to accommodate applicants by offering an efficient and undemanding 2-step application process consisting of a brief Expression of Interest (EoI) in step 1 and a Full Application in step 2.
Applicants answering a specific call for Expression of Interest will have the application process further described in the call text.
Step 1 – Expression of Interest (EoI)
Applicants who wish to apply for financial support from NICe must first send in an EoI giving a brief description of the project idea. This apply for general Expressions of Interest as well as call-specific Expressions of Interest. All EoI’s must be submitted through the application form found below on this page. On the basis of the EoI it will be determined whether the project idea falls within the strategy of NICe or not.
Step 2 – Full application
Applicants that receive a positive response to their EoI, will be invited to send in a full application which must be submitted through the application portal. The first time applicants access the portal, they will have to register and create a user profile. Please note that receiving a positive response to an EoI does not automatically lead to project funding.
Application processing time
Expressions of Interest are processed internally once a month. Applicants can expect a response within 4-6 weeks.
Full applications are evaluated by external panels of Nordic experts before the final decisions are made by the NICe board. Applicants will be notified by the NICe administration when the application is registered, with an indication of the expected processing time, usually 3-4 months.
