The Nordic MINT initiative attacks the problematic of commercialising micro- and nanotechnology. Our approach is to demystify the concept and point out practical, commercialisable applications that can be available and have impact on contemporary life; well-being, health care and safety solutions.

In the ocean of initiatives on micro- and nanotechnology, Nordic Innovation Centre puts emphasis on the importance of building on already existing research. Currently, most activities take place at universities and research institutions, while the industry is still waiting for the right opportunity to launch new innovations in the market.
