26.06.2007 Integrated Design and Manufacturing of Welded Structures The more than 20 research partners have, based on findings on earlier Nordic projects, worked together to improve the design, fabrication and cost effectiveness of advanced welded structures. The results of the project will provide practical guidance of immediate value to industry and exploitation will concentrate on the provision of information in a userfriendly form that is readily applicable.		16.05.2007 Solar thermal components adapted to common building standards (SCAS) New improved solar products and solar heating systems have been evaluated in the project. The products and systems are very attractive compared to existing ones. It is expected that the new solar heating systems soon will be brought onto the market and that the documentation of the thermal performance and the energy savings of the systems in practice will be extremely important for the industry.
28.03.2007 A Nordic guide to workplace design (DEKAR) This Guide focuses on the use of innovative office design as an instrument for creativity and knowledge sharing, and explores the territory between architecture, facilities management, knowledge management, and organizational change.		09.01.2007 Multisensors and other new technology for improved indoor environment in buildings The importance of indoor air quality (IAQ) in buildings is indisputable. Numerous studies have documented that IAQ significantly impacts occupants’ comfort, health and productivity and it is estimated that potential savings and productivity gains from providing users with a “good” IAQ are enormous.

Harmonisering av de Nordiska ländernas träbyggregler Trä har stor betydelse för sysselsättning och ekonomi i Norden. Europeiska länder önskar ett ökat träbyggande. Nationella byggregler komplicerar dock försäljning även inom Norden. Med hela Norden som hemmamarknad stärks industrin vilket ger underlag för en ökad export till övriga Europa. > Les mer		Integrert energiplanlegging av bygg (IEP) Integrert energiplanlegging (IEP) er karakterisert ved at flere faglige miljøer involveres i en tidlig fase av planleggingsprosessen. Det hele starter med en byggherre og et designteam som er engasjert og forpliktet til å prosjektere et bygg med høy ytelse og som er villig til å endre på den tradisjonelle prosjekteringsprosessen. Det er i dag utfordringer knyttet til samarbeid mellom arkitekter og rådgivende ingeniører, som fører til en suboptimal implementering av energianlegg og installasjoner. Partnerskaber i nordisk byggeri (PART-BYG) Udviklingen innenfor byggeriet de siste år har forstærket interessen for at implementere nye produktionskoncepter i nordisk byggeri. Specielt samarbejdsmodeller som partnering og offentligt–privat samspil er blevet fremhævet som vigtige instrumenter til at fremme bedre og billigere byggeri. > Les mer		Demand controlled ventilation systems for energy efficiency The indoor environment is of fundamental importance to comfort, health, and productivity. However, the technical systems required for ventilation and climatization of buildings use almost 40 % of the total energy supplied in Scandinavia. Therefore, research must provide solutions that simultaneously improve human health, comfort, productivity and energy efficiency. One possibility is enhanced control of air-conditioning and ventilation rates in relation to the actual needs of people. > Les mer
